  FISHER
  
  Mrs. Grace Weyand Fisher, 89, of Lewisburg United Methodist Home, formerly
  of Kanter, died March 21, 1975, at the home.  Born April 6, 1885 in
  Garrett, daughter of John and Julia (Kimmel) Bowman.  Preceded in death by
  her parents; her first husband, George Weyand; her second husband, Charles
  Fisher; and two sons, Ernest Weyand and John Fisher.  Survived by these
  children: Mrs. John (Glenavey) Hittie and Mrs. Theodore (Gladys) Saler,
  both of Sarasota, Fla; Wesley Lohr and Mrs. Vernon (Janet) Croyle, both of
  Kanter; 22 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and 24
  great-great-grandchildren.  Member of the Kanter United Methodist Church
  were she served as a Sunday school teacher and a class leader.  Prayer
  services were held at the Lewisburg Home Sunday afternoon.  Family will
  receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and
  until noon Wednesday in the Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown. 
  Remains will be removed to the Kanter United Methodist Church to lie in
  state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Rev. J.R. Peterson
  officiating, assisted by Rev Fred Walker.  Interment Highland Cemetery,
  Garrett.
