Fisher, 78, of 500 North Spring Street, Everett, formerly of Schellsburg, died Monday, Oct. 17, 1988, at Mercy Hospital in Johnstown. Born Oct. 9, 1910, in Cumberland, Md., son of the late Harry A. and Helen (Frost). Preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Survived by wife, former Dorothy Brown; sons, Harry, Jr., married to the former Regina Barcia, Port Orange, Fla.; Larry, married to the former Connie Logue, Carlisle; three daughters by a previous marriage: Mrs. Lois Schardt, Cumberland; Mrs. Joan Llewellyn, Doylestown; Mrs. Mary Lou Martin, Cumberland; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Brother of: Mrs. Grace Wilson, Cumberland; Mrs. Margaret James, Virginia; Mrs. Katherine Towler, Cumberland; Mrs. Anna M. Kreiling, Arizona. He was a retired truck driver from Wilson Freight and Forewarding Company, where he was a member of the Million Mile club for safe driving. He was a truck driving instructor at the William Way Memorial Truck Driving School, of Bedford, Akron, Ohio and Chicago, Ill. Was also an instructor for the Commonwealth of PA. Army veteran of World War II, member of Schellsburg Post 4440, V.F.W. Friends received Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mickle-Geisle funeral Home, Schellsburg, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. Richard Tome, officiating.
