Fisher, 83, of 151 Grant Street, formerly of Cumberland, Md.; died Friday, Oct. 9, 1987 at Frostberg Community hospital. Born in Ridgley, W.VA. Aug. 18, 1904, he was the son of the late Reynolds and Zella (Dicken) Fisher. His wife Mary Elizabeth (Goebl) Fisher, died Dec 26, 1983. The former owner of the Fisher and Robinette Tavern, Cumberland, Mr. Fisher was a member of Cumberland Lodge 271, Loyal Order of Moose. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Alice Bampton, Audubon; and Mrs. Judith Parker, Austin, Texas; and four grandchildren. The body was cremated. A joint memorial service for both Mr. and Mrs. Fisher was held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Grantsville, Md., by the Rev. Joseph Upole. Interment will be private.
