Fisher, 84, of 819 Coleman Ave., Johnstown, died Dec. 19, 1980, at home. Born June 6, 1896, in Somerset County, son of the late Alex and Maggie (Fisher) Fisher. Survived by widow, the former Daisy Burkett, and a number of nieces and nephews. Member of Park Avenue Methodist Church, All Aboard Bible Class, 50-year member of Odd Fellows and American Legion Post 294. Retired employee of U.S. Steel with 30 years service. Mr. Fisher's passing ends marriage union of 61 years. He was a World War I veteran, serving in France and Germany. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, where service will be held 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
