Born Feb. 8, 1914 in Donegal, daughter of Robert and Etta (Eicher) Stahl. Preceded in death by parents, husband J. Harold Fisher, children Emily, Samuel and David, grandson Jeffery Close, and infant granddaughter, five great-grandchildren, brothers Amos and Charles Stahl and sisters Florence Miller, Mary Weyand and Gertrude Hostetler. Survived by these children: Mrs. Lewis (Goldie) Shaffer, Somerset; John, married to Janet, Fisher, Sipesville; Emogene Zerfoss, Friedens; Mrs. Wayne (Nora) Close, Somerset; James, married to Nancy, Fisher, Jennerstown; Genevieve Hoffman, Garrett; Mrs. Cecil (Doris) Friese, Chambersburg; Harold, married to Dorothy Fisher, Somerset and Eldon Fisher, Connellsville. Also survived by 21 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Sister of Eleanor, married to Homer Morris, of St. Thomas. Member of the Heritage Baptist Church, Friedens. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Heritage Baptist Church. Viewing one hour prior to service. Rev. Russell Kessler officiating. Interment Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion.
