Born Sept. 15, 1901, in Deal (Larimer Township) daughter of the late William Joseph and Rothalia (Reitz) McVicker. Also preceded in death by her husband, Bruce M. Fisher; two sisters, Ella Hay and Ruby Tannehill; a twin brother, John; and brothers, Robert C. and Aust E. Survived by these step-children: Bruce M. Fisher Jr., Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Edward (Alta) Stratton, Fair Haven, N.J.; Mrs. Robert O. (Sally) Cash, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and Mrs. Peter (Barbara) Hood, Columbus, Ohio; and 11 step-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Mary Gardner, Mars, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews including Dr. Harold S. Hay, Somerset RD 7. She was a retired teacher and librarian, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Interment, Rockwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Daily American, March 9, 1987 [F0408]
