FISHER Robert Marshall Fisher, age 40, died March 14, 1946, at his home in Ridgeley, W.Va. He had been in ill health since January 26, 1946. A native of Confluence, Mr. Fisher was born June 19, 1905. He lived in Confluence 22 years and graduated from Confluence High School in the year, 1924. He taught school for two years, then became manager of an A & P store in Worthington, W.Va. for two years. On September 1, 1928, he went to Ridgeley, W.Va., where he worked as water treatment inspector for the E.T.D. Department of the Western Maryland Railway. He was a member of the Methodist Church; also, the Order of the Owls, and the Ridgeley Rod and Gun Club. Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church in Ridgeley, March 17, at 12:30, by Rev. Kenneth Harrington, pastor of the Pentecostal Holiness Church of Cumberland, assisted by Rev. R. L. Greynolds, pastor of the Ridgeley Methodist Church. Interment was made in the Baptist Cemetery at Confluence, with Rev. Harrington officiating, with brief service. Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Mildred Payne Fisher, and two sons, Paul R. and Teddy J. He also leaves his parents, John M. and Margaret L. Bird Fisher of Confluence; one brother Harold W., of Friendsville, Md., and a sister, Mrs. Walter Bower, of Confluence. Meyersdale Republican, March 21, 1946
