"Bud" Fisher, 74, of 719 Morris Avenue, Friendsville, Md., died Thursday, Aug. 18, 1988, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md. Born Jan. 4, 1914, at Confluence, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (Byrd) Fisher. His wife, Oselane M. (Jenkins) Fisher, preceded him in death in 1983. He was a retired security guard at the Bausch and Lomb Company in Oakland, Md. He was a United Stated Air Force veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47, Uniontown. Surviving are one son, Philip Fisher, Friendsville, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Mary Bower, Confluence; and one grandson. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, Md. where services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Jay Shaffer. Interment, Steele Cemetery.
