    Aaron C. "Rusty" Fitzgerald, 72, of Friedens RD 2, died Dec. 1, 1987, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born May 15, 1915, in Madera, son of Harry
  and Edith (Crain) Fitzgerald.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Alice
  Holtzendorff and Delores Page; and brother, Edward.  He is survived by his
  wife, the former Esther Coull.  Death ends a marriage union of 48 years. 
  Also survived by these children: Mrs. William (Esther) Claycomb of
  Montrose, Colo.; Robert, married to former Mary Jano, Somerset RD 5; Gary,
  married to former Christine Dick, Friedens RD 2; and Terry, married to
  former Elizabeth Weimer, Stoystown RD 1; also, 16 grandchildren.  Brother
  of: Bernice Pile, Somerset RD 7; Mary Shaffer, Somerset RD 2; Evelyn
  Oakman, Madison, Ohio; Thomas R., married to former Helen Lewis, Friedens
  RD 2; and Eugen, married to former Lois Pile, Friedens RD 1.  He was a
  retired Somerset County coal miner.  Member of U.M.W. of A. for 35 years. 
  Navy veteran of World War II.  Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 2
  p.m. Friday with the Rev. James R. Ling officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.
