  Arlene B. Fitzgerald, 71, Somerset, died Oct. 8, 2006, in Johnstown. Born Jan.
  17, 1935, in Grantsville, Md., the daughter of the late Irene (Bittinger)
  Glass. Also preceded in death by Leroy Swauger; great-granddaughter, Kayla
  Keller and favorite aunt, Frieda Woy. Survived by father, Paul Glass; children,
  Mrs. Richard (Deborah) Keller, Garrett; Mrs. Thomas (Tonya) Shepherd, Somerset;
  Mrs. Rusty (Mitzi) Spory, Boswell; and Phillip Newcomer, Johnstown; five
  grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Sister of Vernon Glass, James Creek;
  Glenn Glass, Tacy, Wash.; Janet Shaffer, Somerset; and Nancy Gindlesperger,
  Berlin. Also survived by a favorite uncle, Dean Woy. Member of St. Peter's
  Catholic Church. Friends received from 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, the time of
  service, in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home. Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli
  will officiate. Interment will be private. Contributions may be made to St.
  Peter's Catholic Church, 433 W. Church St., Somerset PA 15501.
