  Lois E. Fitzgerald, 77, Friedens, died Aug. 30, 2006, at home. Born Nov. 23,
  1928, in Friedens, a daughter of Norman and Ollie (Carver) Pile. Preceded in
  death by parents, stepmother Gladys Pile, and brothers-in-law George Sheeler
  and Jack O'Leary. Survived by her husband of 55 years, Eugene Fitzgerald; sons
  Barry, married to the former Debra Beal, Bakersville and Douglas, married to
  the former Pamela Holtzapple, York. Also survived by a granddaughter, Danielle
  Fitzgerald; a sister, Betty O'Leary, Friedens; and a niece, Beverly Mostoller
  and her husband Bill, Friedens. A member of Friedens Lutheran Church and a
  longtime member of the Middlecreek Ladies Golf Association. Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Friedens Lutheran Church.
  Additional viewing Saturday at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at
  the church, the Rev. Edward V. DeVore, pastor, officiating. Interment at
  Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may
  be given to Friedens Lutheran Church Community Ministry Center Fund, Main St.,
  Friedens, PA 15541. Arrangements by Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.
