  ÊÊ ÊFaye S. Flamm, 70 of Berlin, died November 3, 2008 at Memorial Medical Center.
  ÊÊ ÊShe was born January 3, 1938 in Berlin, daughter of Elwood G. and Mary E. (Walker)
  Sweitzer. Preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald R. Sweitzer; and a
  son-in-law, Donald Wisler.
  ÊÊ ÊShe is survived by her husband of 52 years, Carl H. Flamm; children: Melanie S.
  Wisler; David A. Flamm married to the former Cindy Geary; and Lori L. married to Mark
  Gindlesperger, all of Berlin; grandchildren: Christy Flamm married to Tyson Weir; Brandon
  Flamm, and Andrew and Scott Gindlesperger. 
  ÊÊ ÊA sister of James W. Sweitzer and wife Sallie, Albemarle, NC and sister-in-law of
  James Flamm and wife Phyllis, Berlin. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
  ÊÊ ÊShe was a 1956 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School. She was a cake
  decorator and caterer and was also a secretary for Highland Mutual Insurance Co.20
  ÊÊ ÊShe was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, where she served as choir
  director and organist and was the editor of the church newsletter. She was an avid card
  player and loved to read. She was also a member of the ÒSupper ClubÓ for 46 years.
  ÊÊ ÊA memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 9th at 2 p.m. at New Hope United
  Church of Christ, Reverend Kathleen Barberio officiating.
  ÊÊ ÊIn lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to New Hope UCC Shadow Box
  Window Fund, 3404 Cumberland Highway, Meyersdale, PA 15552.
