    Mrs. Victoria F. Flanagan, 78, of Star Route, Grantsville, died July 24,
  1978 at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland.
    A native of Grantsville, she was the daughter of the late David and
  Lucinda (Bittinger) Fresh.  Her husband, Charles William Flanagan, preceded
  her in death.
    She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.
    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Annalee Resh, Owing Mills, Md., and
  Mrs. Clarabelle Orendorf, Grantsville; two sons, Carl S. and Luther
  Flanagan, both of Grantsville; one sister, Mrs. Virgie Knotts, Orma, W.
  Va.; two brothers, Francis Fresh, Grantsville and Carl Fresh, Bruceton
  Mills, W. Va.; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted there with the Rev. Wesley Georg officiating. 
  Interment, Bethesda Brethren Church Cemetery.
