    Carrie Bowers Flanigan, 87, South Edgewood Ave., Somerset, died Oct. 20,
  1980, in the home of her son, Charles in Upper Marlboro, Md.  She was born
  May 9, 1893 in Oakland, Md.  Preceded in death by her parents; her husband,
  Jerry; 13 brothers and sisters; and one grandson, Jerry Flanigan.  Survived
  by these children:  Marguerite, wife of Robert Enfield, Somerset; Paul T.,
  Pompano Beach, Fla.; and Charles J., Upper Marlboro, Md.; six
  grandchildren.  She was a member of the Horners Lutheran Church.  Friends
  will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home where service will be conducted Thursday 1:30 p.m., the Rev.
  H. James Meyers.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
