    Charles J. Flanigan, 64, Upper Marlboro, Md., died Sept. 29, 1985, at
  Annapolis Hospital.  He was born Nov. 5, 1920, in Ralphton, son of the late
  Jerry J. and Carrie M. (Bowers) Flanigan.  Also preceded in death by a
  brother, Paul and nephew, Jerry Flanigan.  Survived by his wife, the former
  Beulah "Boots" Elkins, and these children: Timothy Flanigan, Bedford;
  Sherry, wife of Carl Blough, St. Louis; four grandchildren; three nieces. 
  Sister of Mrs. Robert (Marguerite) Enfield, Somerset.  Funeral Services
  were held Thursday at Chambers Funeral Home, Riverside, Md.  Interment,
  Lakeview Cemetery, Upper Marlboro.
