FLANIGAN Mrs. Susan Schrock Flanigan died suddenly at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, June 8, 1942, at her home. She was in the doctor's office when she was taken ill and lived only a short while after the doctor took her home. She was born January 27, 1869, a daughter of the late Perry and Christiana Schrock. Her husband Charles preceded her in death 10 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was active in all church work. Surviving are these children: Mrs. Charles Humbert, Mrs. Christiana Frantz, Miss Alta Flanigan, Confluence; Miss Flecia Flanigan. Also these brothers and sisters survive: J. H. Schrock, C. E. Schrock and Mrs. H. E. Wilhelm, Somerset R.D. 4; A. A. Schrock, Pittsburgh; Mrs. C. D. Sechler, Somerset R.D. 1; and Dr. E. D. Schrock, Wisconsin. Services were held Thursday afternoon from the C. B. Humbert Funeral Parlors in charge of Rev. Howard Jamison of Connellsville, who was a former pastor. Interment was made in the Addison Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, June 11, 1942
