(Giegler) Flannery, 75, Flannery Road, Somerset (Lincoln Township), died Aug. 27, 2003, at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1927, in Jersey City, N.J., daughter of Frederick and Lydia Giegler. Preceded in death by parents and brother Harry Giegler. Survived by husband of 53 years, Vincent K.; children: Vincent K. II; married to the former Vicki L. Liester, Sipesville; Margaret A., married to Douglas M. Black, Boswell RD; Thomas J., married to the former Carol A. Fox, Somerset RD; and Timothy M., married to the former Celeste N. Medford, Cottonwood, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren. Member of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Somerset Pike, where she was a member of the choir and the Women of E.L.C.A. and a former council member. Also a member of the Pa. Farm Bureau. When she lived in New Jersey, she was an active 4-H leader. Loving wife, mother and grandmother and accomplished pianist, she also enjoyed singing and sewing. A private family viewing will be held. Friends are invited to a funeral service at 1 p.m. Sunday at Christ Casebeer Church, with the Rev. Dennis L. Doebler officiating. No viewing at the church. Interment, Church cemetery. Following the interment, friends are also invited to a luncheon at the church.
