Flannery, 83, Flannery Road, Lincoln Township, died Dec. 2, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 11, 1923, in Linden, N.J., the son of Vincent K. Sr. and Edith (Gale) Flannery. Preceded in death by parents, and wife of 53 years, the former Margaret E. Giegler, Aug. 27, 2003. Survived by children: Vincent K. III, married to Vickie L. Liester, Sipesville, Margaret A., married to Douglas M. Black, Jenner Township, Thomas J., married to Carol Fox, Lincoln Township, Timothy M., married to Celeste N. Medford, Cottonwood, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Edith Gribbon, Elizabeth, N.J.; and brother, Richard, Mercersburg. A member of Christ Casebeer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Somerset Pike, where he had been in the choir. Also a member of the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, serving on the National Legislative Committee. Past vice president of the Somerset County Farm Bureau, and director of the Somerset County Conservation District. Lifelong self-employed dairy farmer. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Main Street, Boswell.
