B. Flannigan and daughter of the late Jonathan and Sarah Butler, died at her home near Confluence Sunday evening after a lingering illness of several months, aged about 70 years. She was born near Johnson Chapel and early in life united with the Methodist Episcopal Church at that place and all through her life remained a consistent and true member of the same. She was an upright Christian lad, [lady?] beloved b [by?] all. In early girlhood she married Andrew R. Flannigan, who still survives. She is also survived by the following children: Mattie, wife of Alex Recknor of Mount Pleasant; Jennie, wife of Charles Stouffer of Pennsville; Calvin, of Corapolis; Marshall, of Pittsburg, Edna, wife of Orville Burnworth of Confluence.
