    Frances A. Flegle, 81, Church of the Brethren Home, formerly of Cairnbrook, died Feb.
  19, 2008, at Windber Hospice. Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Paint Township, a daughter of the
  late Charles and Helen (Weaver) Fyock. Also preceded in death by her husband, Uriah, in
  1974. Survived by son, David A., married to the former Cheryl Strasiser, Indiana; and
  granddaughter, Hope Olivia. Sister of Hilda Fyock, and Wayne Fyock, married to the former
  Joy Yoder, both of Windber. Also survived by nephew, Mark Fyock and wife, Rose; and
  great-nephews, Tom and Terry Fyock. Member of Central City Christian Church and its
  Ladies' Aid Society and retiree of Shade-Central City School District. Frances enjoyed
  cooking, especially for family and friends. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Inc., Windber, where
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Randy Reynolds officiating. Interment,
  Daley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Central City Christian Church, 247 Lambert Ave.,
  Central City, PA 15926.
