  FERN V. FLICK
  
    Fern V. Flick, 72, of Central City, formerly of Hooversville, died Jan.
  26, 2001, at Somerset Hospital.  born July 18, 1928, in Wilbur, daughter of
  Roland and Velma (Larson) Dixon.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Merle; daughter, Patricia; brother, Larry; and three grandchildren. 
  Survived by these children:  Merle R., married to the former Martha Snyder,
  and Kay, married to Robert Snyder, all of Friedens; James C., married to the
  former Joellison Whipkey, of Hooversville; and Rhonda, married to Robert
  Haupt, of Central City; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 
  Sister of Aletta, married to Frank Strasiser, of Stoystown, Harold Dixon of
  Alma Gorda, N.M., Blair Dixon and wife, Frances, of Cedar Glenn, Calif.,
  Janet King of Troy, Ohio, and Sandy, married to Donald Spangler, of New
  Centerville.  Also survived by sister-in-law, Dorothy Dixon of Boswell. 
  Former member of Reading and Somerset Grace Brethren churches.  Member of
  Sweet Sixties.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday, Rev. Elvin L. Holsopple officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
