Born Sept. 1, 1921, son of James P. and Anna (Frantz) Flick. Preceded in death by parents, wife, the former Dorothy Elizabeth Carver, and son Richard Alan Flick. Survived by these children: Robert Carver Flick of Manns Choice, Constance Elizabeth, married to Robert Gessner, John Alvin, married to the former Sindy Pyle, and Bradley Lynn, married to the former Tabitha Suder, all of Berlin. Also survived by fiancee Dorothy Dilling, and sister, Mary Lou, married to William R. Zimmerman, all of Berlin; grandchildren: Toni Fleegor, Jeannine Flick and fiancee Glenn Kukurender, William Cooney, married to the former Terri Lynn Holland, Michael, Jennifer, and Heidi Cooney, Jeremy, Jodi, and Katie Flick; great-grandchildren: Kyle, Tyler, Casey, Cameron, Kinsley Jade, Nicholas, Kyle, Zachary and Lakyn. A 1939 graduate of Berlin-Brothersvalley High School and was Class Alumni president for over 50 years. Staff Sergeant with the Air Force Flying Fortress in World War II. Former manager of Franyz Distillery, Berlin, former New York Life Insurance agent, Berlin rural letter carrier, courier for First Philson Bank, and volunteer for the Area Agency on Aging. Faithful member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Roxbury, where he was a former Sunday School teacher, and superintendent, elder, deacon and treasurer. Member and past commander of Berlin VFW. Member of Last Man's Club, I.O.O.F. Lodge, and Historical Society, all of Berlin. Member and past president of Berlin V.F.D., Cambria-Somerset County Fire Police, and Berlin Community Grove. Past scout leader with Berlin Troop 135. He was inducted into the Pa. Voter Hall of Fame by Gov. Tom Ridge for voting in 50 consecutive elections. Family received friends Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from noon until service at 1 p.m. Monday at Trinity United Church of Christ, Roxbury. Rev. Walter Martin and Rev.
