Flick, 37, of Mellow Drive, Jenner Township, died May 4, 2003 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born April 7, 1966 in Trenton, N.J. Daughter of James H. Flick and Doris Jeane "DJ" Flick-Gisbrecht. Survived by: Mother of Somerset; father and step-mother Julia K. Flick, Lanham, Md.; fiance Joseph T. Gontis and their daughter Taylor Jo Gontis, both at home; brother Jeffery L. married to Sandra Lavella, Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Judy L. wife of Larry Franke and Joni L. Ruskey, both of Boswell, and Jeanie L. Folton, Stoystown; nieces and nephews, Gregory J. Abell, Christopher L. Abell, Jacqueline R. Ruskey, Kelsey Jo Franke, Natalie N. Folton, and Emily R. Flick; half-sisters, Heather Jo and Jolyn Gontis; stepdaughter, Renee Sarver; stepbrother, James Shimer and wife Cheryl and their children Tara and Christian, and special "sister" Denise (Gontis) married to Dean Botwright. Also survived by numerous special friends and other relatives. A 1984 graduate of North Star High School. Employed by Somerset County Transportation (Tableland Services Inc.) for 19 years. Member of the Thursday Night Bowling League at Terrace Lanes. She was a caring and loving daughter, mother and friend who was always concerned with the welfare of others. Friends received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Michael A. Dunlap officiating.
