  John H. Flick, 79, West Main St., Somerset, died Aug. 29, 1984, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 17, 1905, in Somerset County, a son of the
  late Edward Sr. and Pearl (Berkebile) Flick.  Preceded in death by parents;
  one daughter, JoAnne Bemus; one grandson, John; four brothers and two
  sisters.  Survived by his wife, Diana (Steckman) Flick; one daughter, Mary
  Louise Turpin, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren and one
  great-grandchild.  Brother of Edward Jr., Somerset RD 5; Eugene, Keerville,
  Tex.; Howard, Somerset; and Montreda Steckman, Shanksville.  Member of First
  United Methodist Church, Somerset.  Retired Somerset State Hospital
  employee, retired coal miner and former owner/operator of Freeport Coal
  Company.  Friends are being received in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home, where services will be conducted today (Friday) at 1:30 p.m. with the
  Rev. Percy Ellenberger officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
