  W. Russell Flick, 76, Stoystown RD 1, died Aug. 1, 1984, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born March 13, 1908, in Somerset, son of Edward and
  Pearl (Berkebile) Flick.  Preceded in death by parents; brother, Merle;
  sister, Lillian Worsell; two infant brothers and one infant sister. 
  Survived by his wife, the former Bertha Brown, whom he married Dec. 25,
  1927; and these children:  W. John, married to Lois Oaks, Stoystown; Ray
  Dean, married to Betty Hollis, Kantner; Mrs. Robert (Shirley) McDonald,
  Friedens RD 2; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  Brother of: 
  John H., Edward and Howard, all of Somerset; Eugene, Kerville, Tex.; and
  Mrs. Elmer (Montreda) Steckman, Shanksville.  Retired coal miner, member of
  the Reading Grace Brethren Church and Jenners Local 1742 UMWA.  Friends will
  received from 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday,
  with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
