  FLICKINGER
  
    Gladys Fern Flickinger, 83, of Chickentown Road, Somerset, died April 21,
  1997, at her residence.  Born Dec. 9, 1913, in Listie.  Daughter of
  Sylvester Franklin and Cora Catherine (Shaulis) Baer.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Arthur E. Flickinger, on Nov. 14, 1984; and brothers,
  Howard and Kenneth E. Baer; great-granddaughter, Barbara Jean Johnson. 
  Survived by daughters:  Mrs. Lois Custer of Chickentown Road, Somerset;
  Mrs. James (Barbara) Barclay of Vought Road, Somerset; also six
  grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Erma C. Burk of
  Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Kenneth (Verna Mae) Hoffman of Somerset; Arthur E. Baer
  of Somerset RD 5; Mrs. Arlene Panasci of Somerset.  Member of Somerset
  Church of the Brethren.  Friends received from 3-5 and 7-9 Wednesday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Thursday, with the Rev. Roger L. Forry officiating.  Interment, Somerset
  County Memorial Park.  Contributions can be made to Somerset "In Touch"
  Hospice, 651 S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
