  FLICKINGER
  
    Mary Louise Flickinger, 87, Somerset, died May 12, 2001, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born May 16, 1913 in Somerset, daughter of Hiram Louis and
  Catherine Mae (Zarefoss) Slickerman.  Preceded in death by parents, first
  husband, Charles Delbert Wood, 2 sisters, Caroline Slickerman and Lottie
  Grace Emert, and 3 brothers, Harold, Richard and George Peter Slickerman. 
  Survived by husband, Lester L. Flickinger, to whom she was married 50
  years; daughter, Mrs. Elmer (Shirley) Zimmerman, of Wayne, Mich.;
  grandsons, Mark Zimmerman of Belleville, Mich., and Michael Zimmerman,
  Wayne, Mich.; and 3 great-grandsons, Chad and Mark Zimmerman Jr.  Sister of
  Henry A. Schlickerman and wife, Sarah of Somerset, and Mrs. Ellen Walbush of
  Sipesville.  A 1932 graduate of Somerset High School.  Attended the Somerset
  Alliance Church.  She enjoyed long drives, flower gardening and her
  grandchildren and family.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Scott T. Ream officiating. 
  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's
  Association, 1011 Old Salem Road, Greensburg, Pa., 15601.
