(Mimna) Flowers, 93, of Thomasville, York County, died April 29, 2000 at York Memorial Hospital. Born March 27, 1907, in Summit Township, daughter of John H. and Mary A. (Siehl) Mimna. Preceded in death by husband Hiram A. Flowers, father and mother. Survived by these children: Robert W., of Thomasville, Paul E., of Arendtsville, Adams County, Margaret E. Lenhart, of Thomasville, Mary Ann Albright, of Thomasville, Evelyn J. Fox of Cleveland, Ohio, and Hope Grew, of Meyersdale; also 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson. Also survived by a sister, Gladys Fuller of Wellersburg. She was a graduate of California State Teachers college and employed as a school teacher prior to marriage, and later a homemaker. A member of Old Paths Baptist Church, Stoverstown. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Old Paths Baptist Church, Stoverstown Road, Spring Grove, where service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday.
