  ROBERT J. FLOWERS
  
    Robert J. (Posey) Flowers, 65, of Somerset RD 5, died Feb. 2, 1984, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Feb. 27, 1918, in Garrett, son of William M. and Elizabeth
  (Hostetler) Flowers.
    He was preceded in death by parents; two daughters, Elizabeth Fleegel,
  and Shirley; one granddaughter; and one brother, Charles.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothea Sadler, and these
  children:  Robert Jr., New Alexandria; Ray, Ft. Belvoir, Va.; Harold,
  Friedens; Carol Smith, Jenners; and Beverly Gibson, Lavansville; 14
  grandchildren.
    Brother of Hiram, Frostburg, Md.; and Evelyn Weaver, Alzene Jenkins, and
  Naomia Ross, all of Cumberland, Maryland.
    He was a member of Geiger Church of the Brethren; was retired from
  Walters Tire Service and a member of REACT.
    Friends were received in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services
  were held with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment, Husband
  Cemetery.
