  WILLIAM DAVID FLOYD
  
  William David Floyd, 54, of Somerset died Feb. 25, 1979 at the Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 24, 1924 in Clarksburg, A. Va., a son of the
  late Charles D. and Bessie (Crumit) Floyd.  Survived by step-mother, Helen
  Blanche Crumit; and widow, the former Martha (Halbrock) Speicher and these
  children:  William D. Jr. of Boswell; Daniel S. and Mark (Duffy) both of
  Somerset; Ann Elizabeth Floyd of Sewickley and these step children:  Nancy
  Speicher of San Francisco; and Mrs. Douglas (Diane) Kline of Banberg,
  Germany.  Preceded in death by one sister.  Member of the American Legion;
  VFW; veteran of World War II.  Friends received from 3-5 and 7-9 Monday at
  the Richard E. Haugher Funeral Home where services will be conducted
  Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers,
  contributions be made to your favorite charity.
