Gen. (Retired), 77, Somerset, died Sept. 18 in Somerset Hospital. Born Sept. 2, 1912, in Ralphton, son of the late Gut Brallier and Emily Julia (Kimmell) Fluck. Also preceded in death by brother Franklin D. Survived by his wife, the former Mabel Ann Dunlap, children Mrs. Frederick (Carole Ann) Fatzinger, Mechanicsburg, and Henry Kimmell Fluck Jr., El Paso, Texas, also four grandchildren. Brother of Jack D. Fluck, Pebble Beach, Calif., Mrs. Edmond F. (Rosalind) Long, Somerset, and Guy B. Fluck Jr., Hemet, Calif. Retired commander of the 28th Division Pa. National Guard. Member of First Christian Church, Somerset. Among the organizations he served in were: American Cancer Society, former state chariman; Somerset County Historical and Genealogical Society, vice president; Sons of the American Revolution; Somerset Rotary Club, past president; American Legion Post 181; V.F.W. Post 554; Last Man's Club of Berlin; Pennsylvania National Guard Advisory Board and Somerset Borough Planning Commission. Friends will be received 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Service is 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Christian Church with the Rev. William J. Sleasman, the Rev. Father Terry Johnson and Chaplain Harold H. McConnel officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Full military graveside services will be conducted by the 28th Division, Pa. National Guard. Family requests contributions to the Pa. National Guard Foundation For Emergency Relief, Building S-0-47, Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pa., 17003; or the First Christian Church; or the American Cancer Society.
