Born Nov. 9, 1914, in Macdonaldton, Somerset County. Son of the late Guy Brallier and Emily Julia (Kimmell) Fluck. Preceded in death by brothers: Franklin B. Fluck and Lt. General Henry K. Fluck. Survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Ruth Stickney, and these daughters: Emily, wife of Dr. Thomas Leo of Los Gatos, Calif., and Susan, wife of Alan Castle of Seattle, Wash. Also seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Brother of Guy B. Fluck Jr. of Hemet, Calif., and Mrs. Edmond F. (Rosalind "Posie") Long of Somerset. A 21-year veteran of U.S. Navy, retiring in 1957. He also served in World War II and the Korean War. Received his bachelor of science degree in pharmacology from Oregon State University. A registered pharmacist for Sand and Surf Pharmacy in Carmel, Calif., for 17 years. Member of numerous civic and professional organizations in the Monterey Peninsula area. Private services and interment were held in Pacific Grove, Calif. on Feb. 24, 1995. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, March 10, at the Navy Chapel in Monterey, Calif.
