  JOHN F. FOCHTMAN
  
  John F. Fochtman, 73, of Berlin RD 3 (New Baltimore), died March 21, 1987,
  at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown.  Born March 6, 1914, in New Baltimore, son of
  Frank A. and Bernadette (Will) Fochtman.  Preceded in death by parents, four
  sisters and four brothers.  Survived by a brother, Thomas J. of Levittown;
  and several nieces and nephews.  A retired coal miner and an Army veteran
  of World War II.  Member of St. John the Baptist  Church, New Baltimore;
  New Baltimore Sportsmens Club; Central City Post #449, American Legion. 
  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at
  the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin.  Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m.
  Wednesday at St. John's church, the Rev. Eugene Bettinger, O. Carm.,
  celebrant.  Interment, St. John's church cemetery.  Wake service 8 p.m.
  Tuesday at the funeral home.
