  LAWRENCE C. FOCHTMAN
  
  Lawrence C. (Dutch) Fochtman, 65, Berlin RD 3 died Jan. 29, 1978 at Windber
  Hospital.  He was born May 2, 1912 in New Baltimore, a son of Frank and
  Bernadette (Will) Fochtman.  He was preceded in death by his parents and
  his wife, the former Elizabeth Ellenberger who died in 1976 also three
  brothers and three sisters.  Survived by the following children:  William,
  at home; James, New Baltimore; Paul, Manns Choice RD 1; Joyce, wife of
  Raymond Lohr, Norfolk, Va; 11 grandchildren; two brothers:  John, Berlin RD
  3 and Thomas, Levittown; and one sister, Mary, wife of Paul Boyer, Berlin RD
  3.  He was a retired coal miner and a member of St. John's Roman Catholic
  Church, New Baltimore; the Roxbury, Paradise Valley and New Baltimore
  Sportsman Clubs.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at
  the St. John's Roman Catholic Church, New Baltimore, with the Rev. Robert
  Flaherty, O.C. officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery.  Friends will
  be received after 7 p.m. Monday at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,
  Berlin.  Wake service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m.
