Statler received a telegram from his cousin, Harvey Fogle of Akron, Ohio, Tuesday evening, announcing the death of Mr. Fogle's wife, which occurred Monday. The message also said that Mrs. Fogle's funeral would be held Friday, July 10th. No further particulars were given concerning her death or funeral. It is known here, however, that her health had not been good when Mr. and Mrs. Fogle spent some time here last year, visiting friends. Mr. and Mrs. Fogle formerly resided here. Mr. Fogle was born and reared in Salisbury, and Mrs. Fogle grew to womanhood here; but she was a native of Montour County, Pa., and before she was married was Miss Ella Balliet, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Balliet. Her parents were residents of Salisbury for about twelve years, perhaps longer, and during most of the time they resided here, Mr. Balliet was in the sawmilling business.
