ELLEN M. FOGLE

  Mrs. Ellen Malinda Fogle, aged 84, passed away late Thursday, Nov. 19, at her 
home in Brothersvalley Twp., near Beachdale, from infirmities incident to old 
age.
  She was born May 2, 1858, a daughter of Jonathan and Eva (Christner) Judy and 
spent practically her entire life in the community in which she resided at the 
time of her death.  Her husband, Herman Fogle, a sterling citizen of 
Brothersvalley, died in October, 1925.
  She is survived by four sons, Robert, Charles, Edward and Samuel, all residing 
in the Garrett community, and two daughters, Miss Hilda, Garrett R.D. and Mrs. 
Norman C. Gnagey, Trans-Meyersdale.  Surviving also are 13 grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at her late home at 2:30 Sunday afternoon by 
Rev. A. Jay Replogle, pastor of the Beachdale Church of the Brethren.  Interment 
in Beachdale cemetery under direction of Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
  Mrs. Fogle was one of the oldest and most highly respected women of South 
Brothersvalley.  In addition to her children and grandchildren she is mourned by 
many friends and neighbors.
