All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ GEORGE FOGLE George Fogle, formerly a citizen of Salisbury, where he was born and reared, but later a resident of Johnstown, Pa., died of paralysis in a hospital in that city the latter part of last week, in the 63rd year of his age. He was a son of the late Adam and Caroline Hartline Fogle, and like his father, was a stone mason by trade, following that occupation the greater portion of his life. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Maggie Easton before she was married, and also by children as follows: Zella, wife of Leadie Slick of Johnstown; Mary, wife of John Orico, of Detroit, Mich.; Edith, wife of William Riley, West Salisbury; James, of Johnstown; Robert, of Detroit, Mich., and Leadie, of West Salisbury. He is also survived by one brother and two sisters, namely, Harvey Fogle and Mrs. William Cochrane of Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Nellie Bender of Trafford City, Pa., and also by one half-brother, William H. Fogle, of Connellsville, Pa., and by a number of grandchildren. The body of Mr. Fogle was brought to the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Riley, of West Salisbury, last Sunday, where the funeral service was held Monday at 3 p.m., conducted by Rev. S. D. Sigler, pastor of the Salisbury Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Salisbury I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Among the near relatives in attendance at the funeral were the wife and children of the deceased; also the brother, half-brother and sister already mentioned, as well as some of the members of their families, and Dr. James Easton, of Romney, W.Va.
