  Robert W. Fogle, 72, of Berlin, died June 13, 1988 at Meyersdale Manor. 
  Born Feb. 17, 1916 in Berlin, a son of Warren Elmer and Mary M. (Weimer)
  Fogle.  Preceded in death by parents and three brothers.  Survived by his
  wife, the former Doris Swearman and these children:  Roland, Berlin;
  Shelvie Ryan, Somerset; Cindy Lee Johnson, Miami, Fla.; Carolyn Sue, at
  home; and stepson James D. Smith, North Huntingdon; also eight
  grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  A brother of Evelyn Marchick,
  state of Indiana; Marie Harcom, Kent, Ohio; and Carolyn McGinn, Berlin.  He
  was a former Berlin school teacher and retired from Berlin Post Office.  A
  member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin.  A World War II Navy
  veteran and member of Harry Fisher Post #445 American Legion and the Robert
  Walker Post #7295 V.F.W. Berlin, where he served as chaplain.  Also a
  member of the Berlin Volunteer Fire Department, having served as treasurer
  for 31 years, the Berlin Cemetery Association, where he served as
  treasurer, and other civic organizations.  Also a former deputy game
  warden.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at
  Deaner Funeral Home in Berlin, formerly the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home,
  where service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Carl Schwarm
  officiating.  Interment I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to the Berlin Veteran's Home Association Building Fund. 
  Berlin Fire Department Memorial service 7 p.m. Wednesday.
