Folk, 76, of Springs, died March 10, 1974, in Springs. Born in Garrett County, Md., June 11, 1897, he was a son of the late Jacob and Annie (Siehl) Folk. He is survived by his wife, the former Lura Ash; a son, Mark, and a daughter, Mrs. Roxanne Whisner, both of Springs; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Miller of Canton, Ohio. Mr. Folk was president of Keystone Lime Company, a director of Liberty Trust Company and a trustee of Springs Historical Society. He had served as a director of Meyersdale Community Hospital and was a member of the Stone Producer's Association of Pennsylvania. Church Worker An avid church worker, he was a member of Springs Mennonite Church, was a trustee and usher there for many years, served on its building committee during construction of the new church, and was a staunch pillar of the congregation.
