Folk died at his home in Summit Township, Wednesday, May 7, at 8 a.m., at the age of 66 years, six months, eighteen days. He was born in Somerset County, October 29, 1874, a son of Ananias and Katie (Miller) Folk. He saw twenty-three years of service as a street car motorman in the Pittsburgh district, and retired three years ago when he returned to his native heath to spend the remainder of his days. He is survived by two brothers, Orville of Meyersdale, Frank of Long, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Samuel Firl, of Summit Mills; one step-brother, Perry Maust, of Meyersdale R.D. 1; one step- sister, Mrs. Ed George of Clarion, and a step-daughter, Mrs. Harry Albert of Pittsburgh. His wife, Catherine (Beal) Folk, preceded him in death twenty years ago. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Saturday morning in St. Paul Evangelical and Reformed Church, with Rev. A. J. Forry, officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery, in charge of W. C. Price and Son. Meyersdale Republican, May 8, 1941
