Born July 10, 1921, in Springs, she was the daughter of the late Daniel H. and Mary M. (Hollada) King. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dwight O. Folk; a sister, Helen K. Boslow; two brothers-in-law, Wayne and Orlo Folk and a sister-in-law, Marvette Fisher and husband, William. She is survived by two sons, D. Ronald Folk and wife, Dotty and Richard A. Folk, all of Grantsville, Md.; a daughter, Linda F. Hardesty and husband, Guy Wayne, Salisbury; a brother, James R. King and wife, Marilyn, Springs; a sister, Anna Bertha Beachy, Frostburg, Md.; three sisters-in-law, Retha Oester and husband, James, Canton, Ohio; Mildred Folk, Meyersdale; Rose Lee Folk, Grantsville; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Folk, Friendsville, Md.; Shana Rhoten, Grantsville; Tanya Kamalsky, Galeno, Ohio; Ryan Folk, Grantsville; Tessa Folk, Grantsville; Jaclyn Folk, San Diego, Calif.; five great-grandchildren, Timothy Folk, Ana Rhoten, Easton Rhoten, Taylor Kamalsky and Cole Folk. Mrs. Folk was a lunch counter manager for Yoder's Inc., and a member of Springs Mennonite Church and Daughter of Dorcas. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller St., Grantsville. A service will be conducted in the funeral home at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Earl Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to the Springs Mennonite Church.
