FRANK J. FOLK

  Frank J. Folk, aged 72, a well-known resident of Boswell, died last Thursday 
night in the Somerset County Hospital, following an illness of several months. 
Surviving are two children, George, of Boswell, and Mrs. Savannah Durst, of 
Grantsville, Md., and the following brothers and sisters:  Mrs. Elizabeth Ward, 
of Frostburg, Md.; Simon Folk, of Cumberland, Md.; Mrs. Hattie Stahl and Mrs. 
Ellen McKenzie, both of Jennings, Md.; Mrs. Eliza Butler, of Keyser's Ridge, 
Md., and Harvey Folk, of Nanty-Glo.  He also leaves seven grandchildren and four 
great-grandchildren.  His wife and two children preceded him to the grave.  
  He was a son of the late Jonas Folk, and was born at Jennings, Md., and spent 
most of his life in that vicinity.
  Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the 
Springs Mennonite Church followed by interment in the church cemetery.
