Folk, 82, Grantsville, died unexpectedly at his home Thursday, Aug. 10. Born near Springs, he was a son of the late Jacob J. and Annie (Siehl) Folk. A retired mail carrier for Grantsville RD 2, he was also one of the founders of the Springs Historical Association. He was a member and financial secretary of Grantsville United Church of Christ and elder emeritus of the church. He was also a member of the Woodmen of the World and a former member of the Grantsville Fire Dept. Surviving are his widow, the former Fannie Livengood; two daughters, Mrs. Fern Epstein, Grantsville, and Mrs. Helen Wenrich, Disputanta, Va.; four grandchildren; a brother, Cleman Folk, Springs; and a sister, Mrs. Noah J. Miller, Canton, Ohio. Funeral service was conducted on Sunday afternoon at Grantsville United Church of Christ by Rev. Richard Harder. Burial was made in the Grantsville Cemetery.
