She was about 85 years of age, having been born in 1855 in Middlecreek Township, the youngest of 10 children of Samuel and Elizabeth (Nedrow) Pletcher. She was the last surviving member of the family. Since her marriage some fifty years ago, she had resided near Fort Hill in what is locally termed the Peck Corner community or Maple Glen. She had been a faithful and devout member of the Church of the Brethren since early childhood. Surviving are two daughters, Martha Folk, at home, and Mary, Mrs. Russel Hollada, Greenville, and the following step-children: William A. Folk and Mrs. Cora Maust, near Grantsville, Mrs. Adam Bittner, Connellsville, Pa., Simon M. Folk and Mrs. John Niner, Fort Hill, Pa. Funeral services were held Saturday.
