  FOREBACK

    Jack L. Foreback, 55, of Penn Avenue, Jerome, died July 26, 1998, at
  Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin.  Born April 6, 1943 in Johnstown, son of
  Lewis E. and Fern E. (Bowman) Foreback.  Preceded in death by parents and
  nephew, Dean Foreback, 1971.  Survived by former wife Rosetta (Stangarone)
  Foreback and daughter Margaret E. Foreback, both of Somerset;  brothers
  Richard, married to Lilian Adamy, Virginia Beach, Va., Louis, married to
  Shirley Akers, Jerome, Ray, married to Carolyn Reese, Orefield, Pa.,
  Robert, married to Wanda Jackson, of Elsie, Mich., and Thomas, married to
  Patricia Murphy, Cincinnati, Ohio;  numerous nieces and nephews and special
  friend, Dorothy Trachok, Jerome.  Member of Post 802 American Legion, Nest
  556 Polish Falcons of America and Sportsmen Association, all of Jerome, and
  the Jenner Road and Gun Club.  A 1962 graduate of Conemaugh Township High
  School, Davidsville, and served in U.S. Navy.  Retired employee of the
  Pennsylvania State Liquor stores, having been an assistant manager of the
  Somerset store.  Friends received from 6 p.m. until the time of the
  memorial service at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny
  Street, Boswell.  Cremation, St. Clair Crematory, Greensburg.  Interment
  Maple Spring Cemetery, near Jerome, at convenience of family.
