  FOREBACK

  Lewis E. Foreback, 80, of Jerome, died March 30, 1989 at Siemon Lakeview
  Manor Estate.  Born Feb. 28, 1909, Bedford County, son of Frank and Fannie
  (Deneen) Foreback.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Fern E.
  Bowman, died Nov. 17, 1969; grandsons Kevin and Dean Foreback; infant
  brother, George; sister, Flora Miller, and twin brother, Harry.  Survived
  by these sons: Richard, married to former Lillan Adamy, Virginia Beach,
  Va.; Louis, married to former Shirley Akers, Jerome; Ray, married to former
  Carolyn Reese, Allentown; Robert, married to former Wanda Jackson, Elsie,
  Mich.; Jack, Jerome, and Thomas, married to Patricia Murphy, Cincinnati,
  Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Carl, Dry
  Run;  Mrs. Beryl Lape, Glen Burnie Md.;  Member of U.M.W.A.  Retired miner
  with 28 years service.  Also employed by former Alwine's Dairy for 12 years
  and Conemaugh Township Area School District for 6 years.  Avid duck-pin
  bowler.  Friends received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Allegheny St., Boswell, where service will be held at 1 p.m.
  Sunday.  The Rev. Peter Scharler, Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
