(Hostetler) Forman, died of cancer in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital, on Tuesday morning, October 8, 1946. She was born in Greenville Township, March 9, 1888, a daughter of Urias S. and Mary Elizabeth (Albright) Hostetler, and was aged 58 years, 6 months and 29 days at the time of her death. In May 1932 she was united in marriage with John C. Forman, in Eglon, W.Va. He preceded her in death several years ago. The following step-children survive: James Forman, Elkins, W.Va.; Kathryn, wife of Harry Lewis, and Caroll Forman, Bergoo, W.Va.; John H. Forman, Baltimore, Md.; Marguerite, wife of George Mazer, and Calvin Forman, of Sand Patch; Josephine of Oakland, Md.; Jean and Lu Ann Forman, at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Emma Weimer, Sand Patch, and Mrs. Mary Bittner, Meyersdale; and two brothers, Gillian and Edwin Hostetler, both of Greenville Township, also survive. A sister, Clara Hostetler, and brother, William, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock on Thursday afternoon in the Hostetler Church of the Brethren, of which she was a life-long member. Her pastor, Rev. J. Ewing Jones, officiated. Interment was made in the church cemetery under the direction of Stanley Thomas, Salisbury mortician. Meyersdale Republican, October 11, 1946
