Surviving are five children: Rush M., Rochester, N.Y.; Mary A., Meyersdale; Mrs. A. Ward Coffroth, Somerset; Mrs. Ralph W. Van Sickel and Mrs. T. J. Jacobs, Ursina; two brothers: Frederick Logan Rush, Philadelphia; Scott Rush, Confluence; five sisters: Mrs. S. J. Enos, Mrs. Lee Sellers, Confluence; Mrs. L. B. C. Kurt, Raleigh, N.C.; Mrs. J. Benton Crowe, Uniontown; Mrs. Merrill Parnell, Clairton, Pa., and eleven grandchildren, six of whom are in the service. Her husband was a veteran of the Civil War. Funeral services were conducted at the family home, Saturday, 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Harold S. Kinard, former pastor of the Church of God, of which she was a life-time member, assisted by H. A. Person. Interment in the Jersey Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, July 6, 1944
