Forrest, 74, Laurel, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died Nov. 5, 2004, in Laurel, Md. Born April 1, 1930, in Meyersdale, a son of the late Lloyd and Freida (Christner) Forrest. Preceded in death by sister, Mary Louise Grof. Survived by his wife, Mona Lee (Schramm) Forrest and these children: Wayne Forrest, Queentown, Md., Leanna Nace, Ferndale, Md., and Joyce Schneider, Oaklandon, Ind.; four grandchildren and his sister, Ruth Bittner, Meyersdale. Graduate of Meyersdale High School. Retired employee of NSA in Washington, D.C. A veteran of Korea conflict. The family will receive friends 4 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Grace Brethren Church, where a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. The Rev. Randy Haulk officiating. Military graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale. Arrangements under the direction of M. Forrest, 74, of Laurel, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died Friday, November 5, 2004, in Laurel, Md. He was born April 1, 1930, in Meyersdale, a son of the late Lloyd and Freida (Christner) Forrest. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Louise Grof.
