JOHN STANLEY FORREST

  John Stanley Forrest, aged 6 years, 10 months, died at 6:30 a.m., Saturday, 
May 6, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Forrest of Meyersdale 
R.D. 2.  His death was due to heart trouble on account of which he had been 
confined to his bed since January.  The child's father is serving in the U.S. 
Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Va.  He was called home at the time of the boy's 
death.  In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Max Eldon, 
4, and William Daniel, 8.
  Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at St. Paul's 
Evangelical and Reformed Church with Rev. DeWitt Miller officiating.  Interment 
in the church cemetery, under the direction of W. C. Price and Son, morticians.
